Oh my gosh! I am so sorry for the late post for the Fall into Fall Quilt Bloggers Giveaway! My excuses are valid but I won't bore you with explanations.

When you finish reading this post....not before....click on the little guy and he will take you to the list of blogging quilters who are all giving away prizes. There are 130+ sites to visit so you have lots of chances to win some fun things. The giveaway runs from Oct. 1 to Oct. 15th.
This is what I will be giving away. A half yard of autumn fairy print, (several different fairies in little rectangles that can be fussy-cut), half yard of coordinating leaf print, three fat quarters and Billie Lauder's book "Quick Quilt Tricks". There may be a few more goodies included. Surprises are fun!

Lovely fabric. The fairies are adorable. Favorite fall activity - the fair. I love the rides, games, good foods, sights, sounds and, of course, the wonderful handmade items on display.
Yum, such lovely fairies! My favorite fall activity is the Halloween parade in my town - the center's streets are closed off for a costume parade and it's delightful to see the kids and grownups parading in their costumes.
Oooooo I think I spotted some flower fairy fabric in there....my daughter will love it. I made her a flower fairy quilt a few weeks ago and she just loves it.
My favourite fall activity....going out early on a sunday morning with the kids conker hunting. Even my 15 year old son likes to come along as it has become a family tradition to gather buckets of conkers and then put them on our bird table for the squirrels to takeaway and bury for the winter.
I love just a drive in the country. Taking time to look at all the fall colors. Stopping to buy some fall produce from a roadside stand.
I love to drive up into the mountains to see the fall leaves and bring some clippings home for centerpieces - luxury!!

My favorite fall activity is anything outside. I like to walk or bike since the weather has gotten just a little cooler. Where I live there really isn't any fall, just a little cooler and less humidity, but I'll take it.
I love the colors in your fabrics; warm colors really "draw me in".

Hi there! My favorite fall activity is driving off to the coast with my BFF. Annually, we leave husbands and kids behind, and fly off to the coast. First it was a day trip, which turned into an overnight trip, which turned into a two-night trip. And there it's stayed all these many years. Such fall fun!

Hubby and I enjoy going to the fairs in the fall. I love looking at the quilts in the Exhibition Halls and eating all those foods that aren't good for us. It just isn't right to go through fall without fair fries and a doughboy!

They are beautiful coordinated fabrics. Autumn here (in Australia) is in March and co-insides with Easter school holidays and we generally go camping with the kids.

I enjoy my daily walks so much more in the fall than at any other time - the temperature is cool enough to need a sweater or light jacket, the air is crisp and clean, the leaves are falling, people are out and about raking and enjoying their neighbours - it's a most delightful time to be outdoors!

I love the smell of fall. The baking and the cooler air. Sometimes people in the country burn leaves and that brings back lots of childhood memories of helping my grandparents clean up their yard.

I love raking leaves in the fall. Everyday I rake what's fallen to put in a big wooden bin. Iuse them to ad to my compost when needed. There is something about the methodical rhythm of raking............

There are so many. My husband and I take a yearly vacation to see the leaves. I live in Florida and love N GA, the Ellijay Apple Festival each year gives me new best memories.
Drives on the back roads to view the riotous colors are fun. I also get in the kick of cooking/baking again, and those first few cozy fires in the kitchen stove are wonderful.

i love the changing seasons..currently we are marveling at corn fields and pumpkin patches, including our own this year! we havent been too successful with pumpkins (3) but we had a lot of fun watching them grow. i love long walks with the kids around the neighborhood crunching thru the leaves!! thanks for a chance.

Favorite autumn activity is making apple cider, pies, crisps, dried apples. We just pressed apples for cider last week; see my blog for photos of the good times had by all.
I also love all the things you can make with the apples, pears, prunes that are falling. We already made 67 liter of apple juice, and we are going to the juicemaker next week with another 150 kilo's of aplles. The smell when the juice ie ready, yummie......

the smell of the leaves as they change to glorious shades of rust, red, amber and gold...the smell of wood smoke as cold weather creeps in and wood stoves get fired up...the smell of ripening apples hanging within arm's reach begging to be picked and cooked with cinnamon and spices....the fresh clean frosty mornings that clear out the stale air from my lungs and refresh me..the beautiful huge shiny harvest moon that lights the night up as if it were day and seems to hang so close to the earth that you could reach out and touch it...the feel of sticky and wet pumpkin seeds as I prepare the annual Jack-o-lantern...I love all of it!

My favorite things about fall are the colors and the smells. Also, the cool crisp breeze in the morning. I think Fall is my favorite time of year.
My favorite activity to do during the fall months is reading with a cozy blanket and sewing/quilting.

My favorite activity is going to the pumpkin patch! We go on hay rides out to the fields and get to pick our own pumpkins! It's just a great family activity that we have been doing since my kids were little! We are going on our 16th year!
