I can't believe that next week is Thanksgiving already, which means that Christmas is only a month away! Anyway, SewCalGal is hosting another online Christmas quilt show, and this is the only Christmas quilt I have. Yes, I posted about it last year and also promised myself that I would finish the embellishing before Christmas 2010. Hasn't happened yet, but I took a class from Mary Stori in October so I'm getting out the beads and fancies. When I finish embellishing I will update the picture. In the meantime, check out all the wonderful quilts at the virtual quilt show. Just click HERE
This pattern is from one of my favorite applique/pattern designers, Angie Padilla. Check out her website for some really fun things. Angie is also the author of the EQ6 applique book.

Your quilt is beautiful Bev and will be even cuter with the embellishments! I posted my same quilt last year as it is also my only Christmas quilt.
I love your quilt, Bev. It's one of the few applique Christmas quilts that I have seen that I have seen and just loved instantly. I went and checked out Angie's designs. I haven't seen her work before. She has gorgeous designs. Lovely colours that you have used.
The Christmas quilt is lovely.... I was lucky enought to win some designs from Angie earlier this year - she has lovely unique work.... looking forward to seeing your embellished Christmas quilt!!

The colours are a nice mix.
Hope you get inspired and finish the embellishment this year!

Hi Bev.
This is a lovely quilt.
Great designs in all the blocks.
Love the colours!
It's beautiful, it will get finished when the times right!!
Beautiful quilt. All the blocks look really interesting both separately and together.
I love her work but do not have EQ. Your quilt is lovely. Love Lois
OMG, this is such a great quilt. I just love all the applique work in this one. I hate it when I work on a project and do not get it done for the occasion, thats ok though, it is still a lovely quilt.
You can also enter this into my sewing challenge blog here at, Paula's Sewing Challenges, and you could win a little something, something.
Hope to see you there soon.
I love your quilt. The applique is wonderful, all the blocks are beautifully stitched and the quilting is amazing. Congratulations.
I love Angie's designs too. I hope you get lots and lots of time after the holidays to enjoy embellishing it. Nothing like a deadline to zap the project of fun!
